Legal notice, privacy and corrections
Last updated: 6 November 2026. This page explains who runs WhereIsMySilver, what the site does and does not do, how corrections and replies work, and how information sent to us is handled.
Who runs this site
WhereIsMySilver is run by a private individual in Denmark who is an affected Kinesis customer. It is independent and non-commercial, and it is not affiliated with Kinesis Money, ABX or any other company named on this site. The operator’s name and postal address are provided on request for legal notices, corrections and data protection requests. Contact: whereismysilver@proton.me.
What this site is not
This site is an independent information archive, not a law firm, financial adviser, claims administrator or representative. Contacting us does not create a lawyer–client relationship. We do not advise whether anyone should invest, withdraw, complain, arbitrate or sue. We do not represent contributors, collect fees or settlement money, or accept authority to act for anyone. Consult qualified counsel.
How we report
Facts: documented and dated, with a source where one is public.
Attributed claims: statements by customers, forums or authors are marked as theirs, for example “a customer reports” or “according to the article”, and are not verified by this site unless we say so.
Opinion: personal views are labelled as opinion.
Not published: unverified accusations, account numbers, balances, staff names, private messages in full, and anything from settlement talks.
Corrections policy
If something on this site is wrong or out of date, email whereismysilver@proton.me with the page, the statement and, if possible, a source. We aim to review requests within 7 days. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly, and material corrections are noted on the page with the date.
Right of reply
Kinesis Money, ABX and anyone named on this site may send a reply or statement. It will be published in full and unedited on the relevant page, or next to the statement it concerns. Where we asked Kinesis for a comment and received none, we say so.
Privacy notice
This notice applies when you email us or send information about your own Kinesis case.
What we receive: what you choose to send, usually your email address, account type, what is pending and since when, and any documents you attach. Please do not send passwords, full account or card numbers, or ID documents.
Why: to reply to you, to understand how many customers are affected, and, only with your written consent, to add an anonymised summary of your case to this site. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in documenting a matter of public interest.
Where it is kept: in an encrypted Proton Mail mailbox. It is not sold and not shared with third parties without your consent, unless the law requires it.
Publication: nothing about you is published without your written consent. Published cases are anonymised by default.
How long: for as long as the Kinesis matter is ongoing, and deleted within 12 months after it ends, or earlier if you ask.
Your rights: you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time by email. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
Website hosting
The site is hosted by Framer. Like any web host, Framer processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages. This site does not run advertising.
Third-party material
Links to other websites are provided for information. Their content is the responsibility of their authors. Kinesis pages are summarised in our own words and linked through public web archives; copies kept for evidence are not republished here.
